The Łódź Picnic of Diversity is an opportunity to meet artists from all over the world who live in Łódź. During the event, there will be many workshops for young and older (including yoga, capoeira, art workshops, zero waste workshops, culinary workshops). The event is part of the #EMPATIA project and Festival of Four Cultures.

Ablaye Badji
Ablaye Badji was born in the Senegalese city Ziguinchor in the famous family of griots (musicians) - Cissokho. Surrounded by the cultural wealth and music of his ancestors, Ablaye began his musical education by exploring the secrets of playing traditional instruments such as djembe, kora, sabar, and seourouba. As a professional musician, he plays all over the world. He is the founder of The Badji Band. Not only a performer, but also a great creative teacher. Ablaye specializes in conveying traditional rhythms so that students learn in an atmosphere filled with joy.

Dawid Gurfinkiel and Kuba Jung
Dawid Gurfinkiel and Kuba Jung are part of the Jidyszkajt team from Łódź, combining Jewish tradition with modernity.
The repertoire of the Jidyszkajt group includes both Jewish religious songs and pre-war songs sung in Yiddish. They are presented in completely new, original arrangements. Songs sung in Hebrew, Aramaic and Yiddish sound in a new style - in arrangements combining elements of jazz, rock and electronic music.

The Balagan Show
Balagan Show consists of 3 artists from the basic line-up of Samokhin Band: Pavel Samokhin - a real Cossack on the Don - trumpet, vocals, Armen Karapetyan - Armenian from Yerevan - drums, dhol, duduk, vocals, Wojtek Stępnik - from Łódź - piano, accordion, vocals. The band plays famous hits from Prohibition and Latino, the music of Israel and Odessa thugs through the Caucasus to the streets of Pitersburg and Siberian chance. 

Balkan Spirit Project
Balkan Spirit Projekt is a Serbian-Polish band performing, in their own arrangements, songs from various countries of the Balkan Peninsula.
